Service Use
SobrietyWorks systems are provided to support practical recovery service work.
Service bodies remain responsible for their own content, group conscience, procedures, trusted servant roles, records, decisions, and use of the systems.
SobrietyWorks operates the technical system, supports continuity, and helps make the work easier to maintain and hand off.
Accounts and Access
Some systems may require an account, invitation, access link, or admin role.
Access should be used only by the person or trusted servant role it was given to. Do not share admin access casually, bypass access controls, interfere with another service body’s work, or use the system outside its intended purpose.
If access needs to change because of rotation, resignation, mistake, or safety concern, contact SobrietyWorks or the appropriate service body contact.
Content
Service bodies are responsible for the content they add, upload, publish, send, translate, store, or distribute through SobrietyWorks systems.
Do not use SobrietyWorks systems to post or distribute content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, spammy, invasive of someone’s privacy, or outside the service purpose of the system.
Reliability
We take reliability seriously. We design, maintain, document, and support systems so trusted servants can use them with confidence.
Even so, no system is perfect. Hosting, networks, devices, browsers, third-party services, human error, and ordinary technical failures can affect availability or performance.
When something breaks, the goal is to understand it, repair it, and improve the system.
Contributions
SobrietyWorks systems are made freely available to A.A. service bodies.
The work has real costs, so we may accept contributions to help keep it self-supporting. Contributions are used to support the work: hosting, storage, communications, maintenance, support, continued improvement, and ordinary operating costs.
Changes
SobrietyWorks may update these terms as the work grows.
When we make meaningful changes, we will try to keep them plain, practical, and easy to understand.
